Troy Kooper has built an award winning and highly successful career as a Creative Director, Art Director and Director. He has worked in some of the most prestigious shops in the industry, both on the agency and production sides of the business. He was at RGA when it won Interactive Agency of the Year in 2005 and at Goodby, Silverstein and Partners when they won Agency of the Year in 2007. He was also an Art Director at Mekanism's during its early years and helped in the building of the small creative/production powerhouse.
Troy has a long list of successes, both in the interactive and traditional arenas. At Goodby, Silverstein and Partners, Troy created interactive and traditional campaigns for clients including Comcast, Netflix, HP, WNBA and Hyundai. Prior to Goodby, while at Mekanism in San Francisco, Troys work on the Windows Vista Clearification campaign won such prestigious awards as two Cannes Silver Cyber Lions, a 2007 Webby, two bronze Clios, a One Show silver and two Yellow Pencil at the coveted D&AD Awards.
Before coming to San Francisco, Troy worked at the renowned interactive agency R/GA in New York City. There, his work for Nike iD Interactive Billboard in Times Square won a Bronze Cannes Cyber Lion and a Clio Award.
Troy has won awards as a designer, art director, writer, director, programmer and animator. His accolades span the Broadcast, Interactive, Emerging Platforms and Experimental Medium. Troy lives in Los Angeles CA where he is also a Husband, Father, Editor and founding member of the band Breasts.
